    Refund, Returns, and Cancellation Policy

    At ProteinBasket, we aim to provide you with a smooth and satisfying shopping experience. Please read this policy carefully to understand your options regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds. By making a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

    1. Cancellations

    • 1.1. Cancellation Before Dispatch: If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us immediately at proteinbasketofficial@gmail.com. A full refund will be processed to your original method of payment.

    • 1.2. Cancellation After Dispatch: Once your order has been dispatched, it cannot be canceled. You must follow the Return Process outlined in Section 2 once the item is delivered.

    2. Returns

    • 2.1. Return Window: We accept returns within 7 days of the delivery date.

    • 2.2. Product Condition: To be eligible for a return, the product must be new, unopened, unused, and in its original packaging with all seals intact.

    • 2.3. Non-Returnable Items: For health and safety reasons, opened health supplements or items with a broken seal cannot be returned.

    • 2.4. Restocking Fee: ProteinBasket does not charge a restocking fee for returned items.

    • 2.5. Return Method: Returns can be initiated by mail. Please email contact@proteinbasket.com with your order number to receive the return shipping address.

    3. Shipping Costs for Returns

    • 3.1. Customer Responsibility: For returns due to remorse (e.g., you changed your mind or ordered the wrong flavor), the customer is responsible for the actual cost of return shipping.

    • 3.2. Our Responsibility: If the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect due to our error, ProteinBasket will cover the full cost of return shipping or provide a prepaid return label.

    4. Refunds

    • 4.1. Inspection & Approval: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

    • 4.2. Refund Timeframe: Approved refunds will be processed back to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.

    • 4.3. Refund Amount: For remorse returns, the original shipping charges are non-refundable. For defective products, a full refund (including shipping) will be issued.

    5. Damaged or Incorrect Products

    If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us at proteinbasketofficial@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the product and packaging. We will provide a replacement or a full refund at no additional cost to you.


    Why these changes matter for Google Merchant Center:

    • Restocking Fees: Google requires you to explicitly state if you charge a restocking fee. Even if it is $0, stating it clearly (Section 2.4) builds trust during a manual review.

    • Remorse vs. Defective: Google checks if you distinguish between who pays for shipping when a customer just “changes their mind” versus when “the product is broken” (Section 3).

    • Methods of Return: Stating that returns are handled “By Mail” (Section 2.5) satisfies Google’s requirement for “Return Method.”

    • Original Payment: Explicitly stating that refunds go back to the “original method of payment” (Section 4.2) is a standard Google transparency requirement.
